Wattsun® Dock+
Can I charge my Wattsun Pack through the Wattsun Dock?

Absolutely! We call this ‘stack charging’, and it’s one of the great features of our system. By connecting the Dock to mains power, you can also charge the Packs that are stacked on top of it. The average charging speed is around 750 W. Once the bottom Pack is full, the power is transferred to the next Pack above it using the silver-plated +/- contacts on the module.

Are you using different generations of Docks and Packs together? Then read our blog about compatibility. It clearly explains what is and isn’t possible.

During use, the stack discharges from top to bottom. This means the top Pack is fully depleted first before the one below it begins discharging. This makes it possible to ‘hotswap’ with our products. Simply remove the empty top Pack and stack a full one on top. That way, your system stays in continuous operation.

What products are compatible with the Wattsun Charger 360 and Wattsun Charger 600?

The Wattsun Charger 360 and Wattsun Charger 600 are compatible with the following products:

  • Wattsun Dock 1500
  • Wattsun Dock 2000
  • Wattsun Dock 2000+
  • Wattsun Pack 1.6
  • Wattsun Pack 3000

The 360 and 600 chargers are not compatible with the Wattsun Dock 3000 and Wattsun Ventus. These have a built-in charger with which you can charge your product directly from the grid with the Wattsun Charging Cable.

What battery system do I need for the Wattsun Foldable Solar?

The Wattsun Foldable Solar is designed to give you ultimate freedom when used in combination with the Dock 2000+ or Dock 3000. Simply click the connector of the Wattsun Foldable Solar into the solar input and the Dock will take care of the rest. Plug & Play.

The Wattsun Foldable Solar can also be connected to other systems equipped with an MPPT. Please contact us so we can help you with a custom solution.

Can I ensure that my equipment always remains powered?

Of course! By stacking a Wattsun Pack on top of a Dock 2000, Dock 2000+ or the Dock 3000, it will be discharged from top to bottom. If you cannot afford to lose power and the top Wattsun Pack runs out, simply lift it off the Dock and replace it with a fully charged new Pack. Our intelligent control system will automatically resume discharging from the top. This way, you never run out of power!

Can I also rent a Wattsun Dock (and Packs)?

More and more rental partners in the Netherlands, but also in other European countries, offer Wattsun products. Take a look at our Wattsun Partner page to find a local retailers/rental partner for you.

What is the maximum power of the Wattsun Dock?

The Dock 2000(+) delivers 2000 watts of continuous power. The Dock 3000 delivers 3000 watts of continuous power with a peak power of 6000 watts for 5 seconds.

What is the maximum capacity of Wattsun?

The third generation Wattsun Pack 3000 offers 2.3 kWh capacity and Wattsun Dock 3000 offers 1.8 kWh capacity which is an 41% increase compared to the previous generation Stack.
