Charging via a 400V three-phase connection
Have a 400V three-phase connection on site? You can charge the Ventus in no time. With up to 12 kW of charging power, the battery can be fully charged in under two hours. Ideal for a quick top-up between tasks or an overnight charge ahead of the next working day.
Charging from a standard 230V socket
No three-phase power available? No problem. With an external charger, you can also connect the Ventus to a standard 230V socket. With up to 2 kW of charging power, the battery can be fully charged in around 10 hours. Meanwhile, the Ventus can continue to supply 400V three-phase power, making it available even on sites with only a 230V connection.
Charging with solar panels
Solar panels let you generate your own renewable energy to charge the Ventus. You can connect them directly through the integrated MPPT charge controllers or use solar panels with microinverters.
Charging directly from solar panels
The Ventus has two integrated MPPT charging inputs and supports up to 16 kW of solar panels. Its wide voltage range allows for a variety of configurations, from around 8 to 40 panels. The solar energy generated charges the battery directly, with no external inverter required. Ideal for mobile site offices, containers and other temporary facilities with flat roofs.
Charging from solar panels with inverters
Already have a solar installation with inverters or microinverters? Provided it meets the technical requirements, you can also use it to charge the Ventus 12K. The solar energy generated is converted into alternating current and fed into the battery system through a suitable AC connection. With up to 12 kW of AC charging power, the Ventus 12K offers a way to make use of existing solar installations.
