Power for specialist equipment on location
Inside the mobile lab, equipment such as compressors, measuring instruments, lighting, heating and laptops is used. This equipment supports the analysis of air samples and provides insight into the presence of asbestos particles.
The power supply consists of a Wattsun Dock 3000 combined with a Wattsun Pack 3000. Together, they deliver 3000W of power and 4.1 kWh of capacity. This allows the team to work fully independently throughout the day, without relying on external power sources.
No impact on vehicle range
The service vehicle used by Eurofins Acmaa is electric. An important requirement was that the activities inside the vehicle would not affect its driving range.
By using a separate power system via the Wattsun Stack, all equipment runs independently from the vehicle battery. This avoids additional charging moments and ensures the vehicle remains available as planned.
Sufficient power for heavier applications
Applications such as charging compressors require more power than what is typically available in many electric service vehicles.
With an output of 3000W, the Wattsun solution provides enough capacity to run this equipment without limitations. This ensures work on location can continue without interruption.
Easy charging after the workday
Lansing Unitra has installed an external connector on the outside of the vehicle. This allows the Wattsun Stack to be charged easily at the end of the workday, without needing to adjust the installation inside the vehicle.
The system is then ready for use again the next day at a new location.
A practical solution for mobile operations
With this setup, Eurofins Acmaa has a mobile laboratory that is fully aligned with field operations. The combination of a separate power supply and sufficient output ensures reliable measurements, regardless of location.
